Casual Vacancy – A message from the Parish Clerk
Here is a message from the Parish Clerk.
Please note that applications have now closed for the Casual Vacancy on All Saints Parish Council. The vacancy will be filled at the Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council on 9th July 2024.
Following on from our announcement in May, the restructured Financials menu is now available.
We said a while ago that we were restructuring the Financials menu to make it easier to navigate, together with simplifying some of our internal reports.
The restructure is now complete for the years 2023/2024 and 2024/2025. We’re still working hard behind the scenes to bring you prior years.
This restructure coincides with us completing the annual audit of accounts and filing the AGAR documents.
The reports that are available are as follows…
There are still a couple of missing reports that we are working on in the 23/24 years, and it’s still early days for 24/25 , so there’s obviously some reports not available yet.
Any feedback or questions – please contact the Parish Clerk.
A message from the Clerk of Axminster Town Council
Dear fellow Clerks
The Town Council is not organising the hustings next week but has made The Guildhall available to all 7 candidates for a hustings event as a community interest amenity.
This will be chaired by Matt Smith, Director of the Community Waffle House here in Axminster.
I attach a poster for the event which you may wish to use on your website, social media, or noticeboards to encourage your parishioners to come along if they wish to.
We don’t believe there are any other events in the Axe Valley organised for prior to the 4th July – if there are any in your parishes, please let me know and I can get those publicised locally here too.
Kindest regards
Paul Hayward

Casual Vacancy
There is a new Casual Vacancy on the All Saints Parish Council. The official notice of this is shown on the following CVP1 form.
View the CVP1 form by clicking here.
Please take time to look at the form.
Note that you have 14 days from today to request that an election is held to fill this vacancy (as stated in the CVP1 form).
The Financials menu is getting a makeover.
Over the next week or two, we will be restructuring the Financials menu to make it much simpler to navigate.
We will organise the menu into Financial Years, with the current financial year at the top of the list.
Behind the scenes, some of the reports have been modified to simplify their usage and make them easier to interpret and maintain. Each will be supported by an explanatory note.
So keep an eye out over the next week or so and let us know what you think.
The reports that will be available are as follows…
We’ve been busy behind the scenes updating the community website – aspc.org.uk. For those who haven’t seen it before (where were you?), it’s got a new look and new features for you to explore.
You can search, you can subscribe, you can go directly to related and useful websites and you can click Like on our news items and pages. You can share to social media and you can browse the Events Calendar.
If you have any comments (good or bad) or think something is wrong or missing, then use the Contact Us page on the website and tell us what’s on your mind. This will be handled in strict confidence and you’ll be contacted by someone from the Parish Council or our webmaster.
We may need to do some tweaking over the coming days and weeks but in the meantime, have a good look around and let us know what you think of the new look.
Note that the photo galleries are empty at the moment – but we’re working on that as well!
